Rules of the road

Mistakes
The first is hiding the price. People who read for weeks usually want to know what care costs before they book, and a page that avoids the topic suggests the first call will be a sales pitch. The second is copying competitors' claims. A phrase borrowed from another functional medicine practice's site may contain a claim your board would not accept from you.
The third is buying patient lists or leads. Lead brokers in health care raise consent and privacy questions, and the inquiries tend to be shared with other practices. Analytics and advertising pixels placed on pages where health details are entered can create privacy problems, so set up measurement with your privacy advisor.

Someone has to own the facts: credentials, services, prices, hours and policies. That is usually the practice manager or the lead clinician.
